Practicals

Each subject consists of a theoretical and a practical module. Practical modules are 6-week-long research projects within a lab of the participating faculty, with a final presentation and grade.

Examples of project practicals MCSN:

• Characterization of stimulus features available at short presentation times (AG Lingnau)
• Activity-dependent labeling of glomerular columns in the olfactory bulb (AG Egger)
• Optogenetic activation of dopaminergic neurons - reward orpunishment? (AG Brembs)

Examples of project practicals CTN:

• SARS-CoV-2 inhibitors (AG Barbara Schmidt)
• Molecular mechanisms regulating social fear in adolescence and adulthood (AG Neumann)
